Internal homonegativity among men having sex with men: a comparative cross-national study

Анотація. Досліджено інтерналізовану гомонеґативність (ІГ) та її чинники серед чоловіків, які практикують секс з чоловіками (ЧСЧ) у 12 країнах Східної Європи та Центральної Азії (СЄЦА). Інтерналізована гомонеґативність (яку інколи називають внутрішньою гомофобією) є неґативним ставленням до власних одностатевих потягів. Вона виникає тоді, коли геї та інші люди з гомосексуальними потягами засвоюють панівні неґативні настанови й переконання про гомосексуалів і гомосексуальність.

Інтерналізована гомонеґативність є важливим чинником гіршого стану здоров'я (включно з уразливістю до ВІЛ-інфекції) й меншої включеності в життя спільноти в західних країнах. У пострадянських країнах її феномен майже не вивчено, хоча є достатньо підстав вважати ІГ більш поширеною тут.

Крос-секційне онлайн-опитування ЧСЧ було проведено в серпні-жовтні 2017 року. Вибірка була зручною за дизайном (convenience sample). Рекрутинґ здійснено на підставі додатків та веб-сайтів для знайомств, інших партнерських сайтів та ЧСЧ-сервісних організацій. Обсяг аналітичної вибірки становив 8239 респондентів з Росії, України, Білорусі, Казахстану, Киргизії, Естонії та Литви (які ми об'єднали), Вірменії, Грузії, Азербайджану, Македонії та Молдови.

Ми вимірювали ІГ за допомоги Короткої шкали інтерналізованої гомонеґативності (КШІГ), що містить вісім суджень на основних мовах досліджуваних країн. Відповідно до a Кронбаха та багатогрупового конфірматорного факторного аналізу, наша адаптація КШІГ показала задовільний або хороший рівень надійності та часткову або повну скалярну інваріантність у країнах СЄЦА.

Більшість опитаних в усіх країнах не мали вираженої ІГ. Проте середній рівень ІГ значущо відрізнявся поміж країнами. Це можна пояснити як дизайном вибірки, так і різними рівнями соцієтальної гомофобії. Результати моделювання структурними рівняннями чинників КШІГ також відрізнялися поміж країнами. Однак у більшості країн ІГ був нижчим серед чоловіків, які визначали себе як геїв, більш відкритих щодо власних одностатевих потягів і менш релігійних. Неочікуваними висновками виявилися неґативні зв’язки між ІГ і вищою освітою, а також суперечливі зв’язки з віком у деяких країнах.

Таким чином, інтерналізована гомонеґативність є спільним і порівнюваним феноменом серед ЧСЧ Східної Європи та Центральної Азії. Її поширеність відрізняється поміж країнами і пов’язана передусім із власною сексуальною орієнтацією (гей, бісексуал тощо) та з визнанням власних одностатевих потягів. Крім того, шкала КШІГ є придатною для подальшого вивчення здоров’я чоловіків та можливостей мобілізації ЛГБТІК в реґіоні.
