Повномасштабне вторгнення Росії в Україну 2022 року стало радикальним екзистенційним викликом не лише для українського суспільства, а й для української соціології як наукової дисципліни. Стаття аналізує, як війна руйнує традиційні межі між академією та суспільством, дослідником і учасником, нейтральністю і залученістю, теорією і дією. У фокусі — потрійна криза соціології: інституційна, епістемологічна та етична. Спираючись на підходи П’єра Бурдьє, Мішеля Фуко та студій постколоніалізму, стаття пропонує концепцію «гібридного знання» — балансу між науковою строгістю, громадянською відповідальністю та етичним залученням. Проаналізовано адаптацію академічних інституцій до умов війни, зміни у дослідницькій програмі, методологічні компроміси, а також посилення публічної й соціальної ролі соціолога. Показано, що війна пришвидшила деколоніальний поворот, актуалізувала транснаціональний вимір досліджень і відкрила простір для нової мови опису української реальності. Українська соціологія постає як соціологія дії — знання, що чинить опір, документує трагедію та підтримує колективну суб’єктність за часів катастрофи.
