У статті презентовано огляд, аналіз та спробу методологічної адаптації релевантних напрацювань світових соціально-психологічних досліджень щодо проблематики й реалій стресових станів російсько-української війни. Зокрема, йдеться про роль та функції медіативних ресурсів у подоланні та буферизації спричинених війною стресових станів, адаптації та формуванні суспільної психологічної стійкості. Аналізується специфіка стресів під час війни. Зазначається, що війна є надзвичайною ситуацією та травматичною подією, спрямованою не на окремих осіб, а на населення загалом. За таких умов населення переживає подовжений травматичний стрес (ПТС). У рамках соціологічного підходу дослідження стресу та ресурсів щодо його подолання схарактеризовано модель стресового процесу (Stress Process Model) Л. Перліна. Окреслюються й аналізуються головні теоретичні концептуалізації ресурсного підходу щодо стресу С. Гобфола, зокрема ключові ресурсні теорії, інтеґровані ресурсні моделі та теорія зберігання ресурсів. Досліджуються ресурсні механізми та медіативна функція ресурсів у адаптації та доланні стресу. У соціологічній перспективі подальших досліджень стресових станів російсько-української війни відзначається особлива роль соціальних стосунків як психологічного ресурсу і соціального капіталу, що сприяють буферизації стресу. Автори доходять висновку, що у перспективі тривалої війні та її наслідків важливими завданнями суспільства та держави є збереження й нарощування ресурсів внутрішньої згуртованості, солідарності та стійкості разом із підтримкою різних форм самоорганізації щодо національного спротиву.
